Bolton C.H.A. Rambling club invite you to join them on Wednesdays and Saturdays;

Saturday April 14th

A STATUES AND SQUIRRELS – Meet at Aldi CP, Higher Bridge Street BL1 4HJ at 9.00. Walk starts from Freshfield Station CP L37 7DD at 10.15 Train to WATERLOO station. Coastal walk. Crosby Blundlesands, Hightown, Formby. 10 miles moderate. Alan Turner.

B CAR RAMBLE BARNOLDSWICK – Meet in Hough Lane near the health centre behind Morrisons, Harwood BL2 3 HQ at 9.30 for transport to start point or if driving park in CP next to Co-op on Fernlea Ave (opposite council shop). BB18 6AB Barnoldswick, Greenboxfield Locks, Gilbeber Hill, Bracewell, Bancroft Hill. 7 and three quarter miles. Terry & Hazel Kirane

C - ROGER WORTHINGTON'S GRAVE – Meet in Hawkshaw Lane, Hawkshaw BL8 4JL for 11.00 start. Walk up Hawshaw Lane to Roger Worthington's Grave, Red Earth, Edgworth, The Barlow, Birches, Hawkshaw. 7 miles. Gordon Hughes

Wednesday April 18th 

1) CHIP SHOP WALK – Meet at White Coppice  PR6 9DE for 10.30 start. Goit Path North, Old Railway, Abbey Village, Brinscall (Optional Fish and Chips), Brinscall Hall, Longwood Mill, Phillipsons, Reservoir Path, Whie Coppice. 8.5 miles.  Graham Marland        

2) ABBEY VILLAGE – Meet at Dole Lane, Abbey Village PR6 8DP (opposite the Hare and Hounds public house) for 10.30 start. Higher Hill Farm, Tockholes, Higher Whitehalgh, Higher Broadhalgh, Stanworth Farm, Abbey Village. 8 miles. Colin Graham

3) ADLINGTON CIRCULAR - Circular walk around Adlington. Meet at Jubilee Park playing fieldsPark Road, Adlington PR7 4HZ
Route to be explained on the day. 6 miles. Mavis Taylor or David Bagguley.

Try them out first by just turning up at the meeting points which are all listed on the website  http://www.boltoncha.org.uk where you can also join the club .

Wednesday number ‘1’ and ‘2’ walks are approx. 8-9 miles and of similar standard. Number ‘3’ walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.

Saturday ‘A’ walks are approximately 12 miles, ’B’ are approximately 9 miles and ‘C’ are approximately 6 miles
