Saturday 19th May

‘A’ - TOTTRIDGE/BURNSLACK - Meet at Aldi CP, Higher Bridge Street BL1 4HJ at 9.00.  Walk starts at 10.00 from Chipping Central CP (PnD) – or adjacent side street. Dinkling Green, Lickhurst Farm, Totridge 497m, Burnslack Fell. 11/12 miles, Climbing approx 1300ft.  Some rough moor. Garth Aspden.

'B' – BURRS COUNTRY PARK – Meet at Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom BL0 9LR for 10.30 start.Grant's Tower, Buckhurst, Broomses, Burrs Country Park, Summerseat. 9 miles. Mary Turner

‘C’ - WILCOCK'S FARM – Meet in Lever Park Ave BL6 7JU for 10.30 start. Dryfield Lane, Fishermans' Walk, Rivington, Dean Brook, Yarrow East, Dean Wood, Rivington  Hall Barn, Horwich. 6 miles. Margaret Goudge

1) – RIVINGTON CIRCULAR – Meet in Lever Park Ave BL6 7JU for 10.30 start. Liverpool Castle, Lower Barn, Dean Wood, Wilcock's Farm, Old Rachel's, Rivington Hall Barn, Higher Derbyshires, Lever Park Ave. 8 miles. Jane Lane

2) – HEALEY NAB – Meet in BL6 7SB Rivington Hall Drive for 10.30 start. Rivington, Street Drive, Healey Nab Quarry, White Coppice, Anglezarke Reservoir, Overflow Steps, Rivington. 9 miles. Derek Jackson

3) – SUMMERSEAT – Meet at Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom BL0 9LR for 10.30 start. Tagg Wood, Brooksbottom CC, Summerseat, 6 miles. Keith & Frances Sandeford

Try them out first by turning up at the meeting points which are all listed on the website http://www.boltoncha.org.uk where you can also get frurther information on joining.

Wednesday number ‘1’ and ‘2’ walks are approx. 8-9 miles and of similar standard. Number ‘3’ walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.

Saturday ‘A’ walks are approximately 12 miles, ’B’ are approximately 9 miles and ‘C’ are approximately 6 miles
