Bolton Ramblers are walking the Bolton Boundary from Affetside to Kearsley on Saturday, May 26th.

Join them to discover beautiful countryside that you might not expect to find in the busy eastern suburbs of the Borough.

The walk is a 9 mile linear walk with no steep climbs and generally good paths. It skirts Harwood, Breightmet and Little Lever, passing over gentle farmland, through woods, along peaceful canals and touching on Moses Gate Country Park at the fascinating Meccano Bridge and the disused flight of locks at Nob End.

After Prestolee and Ringley, the walk finishes on the A666 at Kearsley.

Meet at 10.00am at Affetside Cross, Watling St., BL8 3QW - Bus 480 from Stand E, Bolton Interchange at 09.08am. Return from Kearsley on Bus no. 8 or 2 into the Interchange.
