Around one hundred members and guests enjoyed two speakers from Bolton Museum as the Inner Wheel Club of Horwich marked the 64th year since being chartered at Rivington Barn.

Julie Oldham, Head of Bolton Library and Museum Services, gave an introduction to ‘Culture in Bolton’. Ian Trumble, whose particular interest is in Egyptology, went on to give some fascinating insights into the new galleries currently being developed within Bolton Museum.

When completed later in the year, these will make the Bolton collections more accessible and interesting for all visitors, especially families.
