Saturday 28th July

'A' – SCALD BANK – Meet at Aldi car park, Higher Bridge Street BL1 4HJ at 9.00. Walk starts from CP on canal near Foulridge Canal Cruises (postcode BB8 7PP) at 10.00 Hurst Hill, Pennine Bridleway, Scald Bank, Kelbrook Wood, Cragg Farm, Daubers Bridge, Foulridge. 12 miles. Sarah Ozanne

'B' – WHEELTON MOOR – Meet at Anglezarke car park PR6 9DQ for 10.30 start. Lead Mines Clough, Drinkwaters, Wheelton Moor Plantation, White Coppice. 9 miles. Derek Jackson

Wednesday 1st August

1) – EAGLEY BROOK – Cars to Ousels Nest car park BL7 9AN (signposted as Jumbles and off Chapeltown Road shortly before reaching Turton Tower) for 10.30 start. Grange Road, Birtenshaw, Eagley Brook, Dimple, Parrs, Stone Circle, Jesus Stone, Clough House, Turton Golf Course, Ousels Nest CP. 8.5 miles. Ray Jennings

2) – WARPERS TRAIL – Meet at Turton Tower BL7 0HG for 10.30 start. Jumbles, Wayoph, Edge Fold, Lowe Hill, Turton & Edgeworth Reservoir South, Clough House. 9 miles. Steve Almond

3) - AFFETSIDE – Meet at Pack Horse, Affetside. BL8 3QW for 10.40 start. Two Brooks, Croichley Fold, Hollymount, Greenmount. 5 miles. Frank Wall

Wednesday number ‘1’ and ‘2’ walks are approx. 8-9 miles and of similar standard. Number ‘3’ walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.
Saturday ‘A’ walks are approximately 12 miles, ’B’ are approximately 9 miles and ‘C’ are approximately 6 miles.
