Award-winning comedienne Our Trace will be at the Albert Halls in Bolton on Saturday October 13th.
Tracey is married to Terry aka 'Biff', and they're happy with the whole thing... Together they live in a lovely, quaint, picturesque, fishing village calling Wolverhampton on the beautiful outskirts of the West Midlands (with dirty curtains).
After spending the majority of her youth 'treading the boards' (15 years of it!) as a thespian starring in many comedies and pantomimes, Tracey developed a talent of being able to portray different characters.
Combine this with being 'an almost made it' karaoke singer, this resulted in her still on stage, being laughed at all over the country. Tracey's comedy career began in 2000. She was asked to do a routine for an 80th birthday party. So, after a rummage and a firk in a local charity shop, Tracey invested in a 'posh frock' and her infamous purple hat. Couple this with a pair of 1920's specs and threadbare cardie... A 20 minute spot left the audience reeling with laughter, a comics' ultimate compliment.
This led to auditions for local entertainment councils and into club land she entered, leaving a trail of wet knickers and running mascara behind wherever she went and will continue to go. Every single year in succession from the time she began her comedy career, Our Trace has been voted Top Comic locally and has been a grateful recipient of many, many awards. She has also appeared on television among other media, ITV's Gagging For It, BBC's Inside Out, BBC's Radio's Pebble Mill (with Malcom Boyden) and Wolverhampton Radio.
The local Express and Star newspaper have been supportive of Our Trace throughout the years, describing her as an 'outrageous, Guinness guzzling man eater in a frumpy frock. This funniest act to emerge from the club scene in years!' The National Federation of Entertainment Secretaries voted Our Trace, National Top Comic of 2008.
Trace is so passionate about her comedy and sticks to the unique character she has created over the years. Now after a short clip of mobile phone footage was posted on social media. Was viewed and shared all over the World, at last opportunity is knocking.
