Horwich resident Sharon Sharrocks will be hosting the world's biggest coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support at St. Elizabeth's Church, Cedar Avenue on September 28th (9.30am to 2pm).
It is very close to her heart as her husband Stuart Sharrocks is currently undergoing treatment for the disease.
People all over the world suffer from cancer, you may know someone who has been or is being affected by this awful disease.
Sharon is looking for donations of cakes, biscuits and prizes for games and a raffle and donations can either go straight to the Church or you can ring Sharon on 07854 130010.
Most of all, she would like a good turnout to support this fantastic cause.
