Saturday 6th October

‘A’ -  SINGING RINGING TREE – Meet at Aldi CP, Higher Bridge Street   

BL1 4HJ at 9.00.  Walk starts at Clowbridge Reservoir CP on A682 Rawtenstall to Burnley Road (GR 823280) at 10.00. Nearest post code is BB11 5PB Burnley Way, Townley Hall, Spring Gardens, Crown Point,White Hill. 12 miles. Danny Mangan

‘B’ - WHITE COPPICE – Meet at Rivington Hall Drive BL6 7SB  for 10.30 start. Dean Brook, Alance Bridge, Anglezarke Reservoir East, White Coppice Grey Heights, Street Drive. 9 miles. Julia Watmough

‘C’ -  – BARROW BRIDGE – Cars park in Whitehill Lane, near Sweetloves water treatment plant BL1 7DS off  Belmont Road for 10.30 start. Barlow Park, Ravedon Clough, Smithills Hall, Moss Bank Park, Barrow Bridge, Sheep House Farm, Tippett House, Horrocks Fold. 6 miles. Michael Langdon

Wednesday 3rd October

1) – CATTERNAB – Cars to Belmont for 10.30 start.  Cars should park on the side streets at the back of the Belmont Bull Hotel. BL7 8AJ Hoarstones, Hordern Stoops, Catternab, The Pike, Spring Reservoir, Belmont. 8.5 miles. Sarah Ozanne.

2) – HOLE IN ONE – Meet at Battridge Road CP for 10.30 start. Nearest post code. BL7 0NF NOT the car park signed Batridge Barn.    Clough Hse, Torra Barn, Turton Golf Club, (CH), Witton Weavers Way, Rotary Way, Turton Bottoms, Wayoh West. 8 miles. Gordon Hughes

3) – BRINSCALL – Meet at Brinscall Baths PR6 8QU for 10.30 start. Goyt, White Coppice, Tootals, Brinscall, Abbey Village, Pike Lowe, Brinscall. 7 miles. David Bagguley

Wednesday number ‘1’ and ‘2’ walks are approx. 8-9 miles and of similar standard. Number ‘3’ walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.

Saturday ‘A’ walks are approximately 12 miles, ’B’ are approximately 9 miles and ‘C’ are approximately 6 miles.
