An off-road biker has been issued with a warning following several complaints from residents.
Horwich neighbourhood police officers had received reports about an off-road biker in the area.
Officers have identified the driver, and issued them with a Section 59 warning. Police are increasingly using their powers conferred in Section 59 of the Police and Reform Act 2002.
These powers allow an officer to seize and remove a vehicle.
However, the police cannot seize a vehicle without first warning the driver that it will be seized if inconsiderate driving persists.
