Bolton Ramblers invite you to join them for a walk of approximately 4 miles through Rivington's Terraced Gardens Sunday, February 10th.
This walk was originally planned for July 2018 but had to be cancelled due to the dreadful Winter Hill fires.
It is a circular walk exploring the magnificent gardens and architecture created by Lord Leverhulme with the opportunity to see the extensive regeneration of the gardens being carried out by dedicated volunteers.
Meet at 2pm at the car park on Lever Park Avenue, on the left just past Rivington & Blackrod School. (Bus 125 from Bolton to the Crown Pub and walk down to Lever Park Avenue.)  This walk is free and there is no need to book.  Just turn up with suitably sturdy walking gear.
