Forthcoming walks with Bolton CHA Rambling club:

Bolton C.H.A. Rambling club invites you to come and join us on Wednesdays and Saturdays;

Saturday 20th July

'A' - WAINSTONES - Meet at Bolton station B L2 1BE at 8:45 for train to Piccadilly. Walk starts at 10:30 from Glossop Station SK13 7DD. Shelf Benches, James's Thorn, B29 site, Wainstones, Cock Hill. 10-12 miles

'B' - HOLE IN ONE - Meet at Turton Tower BL7 0HG for 10:30 start. Toora Manor, Golf Club, Turton Bottoms, Wayoh West, Witton Weavers Way, Clough House, Turton Tower. 8 miles.

'C' - WHITE COPPICE - Meet at Anglezarke car park PR6 9DQ for 10:30 start. Kay's Farm, White Coppice, East of Reservoir, Anglezarke CP. 6 miles.

Wednesday 24th July

1) HOGHTON BOTTOMS - Meet at Hoghton Village Hall (PR5 0SG) for 10:30 start. Riley Green, River Darwen, Hoghton Bottoms, Leeds/Liverpool Cana, Boatyard, Hoghton Bottoms. 9 miles.

2) PIKESTONES - Meet in Rivington Hall Drive BL6 7SB for 10:30 start. Rivington, Dean Brook, Allance Bridge, Lead Mines Clough, Pikestones, Jepsons Gate, Watermans Cottage, Anglezarke Reservoir, Overflow Steps, Rivington Hall Drive. 8 miles.

3) ICE CREAM WALK - (bring bus passes). Cars park at Georges Lane BL6 6RT for 10:30 start Wallsuches, Higher Derybshires, Rivington Lower Barnm Cunliffe Farm, Shaw Place, Slack's Farm, Hall'oth Hill, Cross canal and railway bridge to Fredrick's Ice Cream Parlour. Catch 125 bus back to Georges Lane. 6 miles.

Wednesday number '1' and '2' walks are approx. 8-9 miles but number '2' walks are at a slower pace. Number '3' walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace, slill. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.

Saturday 'A' walks are approximately 12 miles, 'B' are approximately 9 miles and 'C' are approximately 6 miles.
