A walk exploring moor and valley in the Rossendale area.
Join Bolton Ramblers on a 9 mile circular walk in the Rossendale area this Sunday, August 18th.
Meet at 10am at the disused church on Church Road, the A56, Shuttleworth, 200m south of the Duckworth Arms, BL0 0EG.
The walk crosses Harden Moor to the ruined Cheeseden Lumb Mill and from there heads north to Paradise! It then picks up the Rossendale Way to Cowpe Lowe Fell and the promise of wonderful views from the summit before descending south and crossing Dearden Clough on the way back to Shuttleworth.
Refreshment can be obtained at the local hostelry following the walk.
