A new and exciting Best Local Shop competition has been launched by Chris Green MP to celebrate local shops and their contribution to our high streets.

For the first round, Mr Green is asking his constituents to nominate their favourite shop within the Bolton West and Atherton constituency. The top nominees will form a shortlist of shops from around the constituency, upon which local people will have the opportunity to choose the best local shop in the whole of the Bolton West and Atherton constituency.

Speaking about the competition, Mr Green said: “Our local high streets play a vital role in our communities, offering a wide variety of services and products.

“This is why I wanted to run this competition, to celebrate the contribution they make to our communities and local economy, as well as to encourage more people to pay a visit to their local high street.”
