Join the Town Mayor Councillor Gordon Stone at the countdown for the Lighting of the Civic Christmas Tree at 6.00pm on Friday 6th December at the Crown roundabout. There will be a short carol service led by Reverend Stephen Fletcher with Rivington & Blackrod High School Band and the Beacon Primary School Choir.We will also be joined by Father Christmas and the Horwich Rotary Sleigh and Horwich Carnival Royalty.There will be a temporary road closure in place for the safety of those attending.
