A NEWLY-OPENED barber shop in Horwich is proving a cut above the rest.
Horwich-born Darren Southworth has taken over the Old Town Barbers in Lee Lane and re-branded the business as Darren’s Barbers.
Darren, who has been acting since the age of 19, was working in the shop last June until October before going on to do pantomime at the Nottington Playhouse.
He then decided to pursue his other passion as a qualified barber. Darren took over the shop and gave it a complete new look and refurbishment with competitive rates.
Only £5.50 for OAPs every day and a loyalty card, so five cuts and get the sixth half price. Walk in - so no appointment needed. Shop opens Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9.30 - 5.30; Wednesday 9.30 – 2pm; Thursday 9.30 – 6.30 and Saturday 8 – 2.
