Two young gymnasts in Year 4 at Bolton School Junior Girls' School will travel to America in the summer to compete at the IAIGC World Championships.

Bolton School students Amy Wildon-Foster and Ruby Spencer will be heading to Orlando, Florida.
Their bid to qualify started last autumn. Alongside fellow squad members, they have been competing across the UK at regional and state level competitions.

Alongside fulfilling all of their training and squad commitments, this has culminated in them being selected by the Head Coach at Chorley Gymnastics Club to represent the UK at the Championships.

They are competing at Copper 1 level, Amy in the age 9 category and Ruby in age 8.

Running from the end of June into July this summer, the championships will also feature international gymnasts from countries including Bermuda, Canada, Germany, India, Mexico, Romania, South Africa, and the United States.
