Unfortunately for local sports fans, all grassroots football has been postponed in the UK for all clubs until further notice, this includes Horwich RMI AFC, Horwich RMI JFC and various other local teams throughout Horwich and Bolton. This is following government and FA guidelines sent in by the Lancashire FA.
Albeit disappointing, the health and safety of players, and also fans who go to watch, is the most important thing to local clubs. As soon as the FA and UK government advise it is safe to do so, coaches and managers have said they will be in contact to advise when training and games resumes.
