Bolton C.H.A. Rambling club invite you to join them on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Saturday 16th June

Coach trip to Bakewell. Meet at Bolton bus station (Stand G) for 8.30 start. This is a members' trip but there may be spare places on the coach. Call the Secretary, on 01204 394649, if interested

'A' – Edensor, Chatsworth, Calton Lees, Rowsley, Bouns Corner, Haddon Park, Bakewell. Approx 10.5 miles. Sarah Ozanne

'B' – Bakewell, Haddon Hall, Youlgrave, Over Haddon, Bakewell. 8.5 miles Height Gain 250 metres. Frank Wall

'C' – The White Lodge, River Wye, Monsal Viaduct, Headstone Tunnel, Monsal Trail, Ashford in the Water, Ashford Lake, Endcliffe Wood, Bakewell. This a low level walk of approx 5 to 6 miles in the Wye Valley area.  The drop off point will be just after Taddington. Pauline Francis.

Full details of all walks will be announced by leaders on the coach. There will be comfort stops on the trip

Wednesday 20th June

1) – RED LEA – Meet at Ryal Fold BB3 0PA for 10.30 start. Sunnyhurst, Meadow Head, Feniscowles, Red Lea, Higher Hill, Ryal Fold. 8.5 miles. Peter Murray

2) – CAR RAMBLE – CHIPPING – Meet at Moss Bank Park car park BL1 6NB for 9.15 car share to Chipping CP for 10.30 start. Windy Hills, Lickhurst, New Laund, Leagram Hall. 8 miles. Ray Jennings

3) – SUNNYHURST WOODS – Meet at Moss Bank Park car park BL1 6NB at 10.00 to transport passengers to Ryal Fold for 10.30 start. Step Back, Lyche Gate, Sunnyhurst Woods Visitor Centre, Winter Hill, Weasel Lane,Higher Hill Farm, Ryal Fold. 6 miles. Frank Wall

Wednesday number ‘1’ and ‘2’ walks are approx. 8-9 miles and of similar standard. Number ‘3’ walks are approximately 6 miles, are easier and at a slower pace. In some cases, post codes are nearest to start point.

Saturday ‘A’ walks are approximately 12 miles, ’B’ are approximately 9 miles and ‘C’ are approximately 6 miles.
