Bolton Ramblers are celebrating their 50th Anniversary by walking the Bolton Boundary on Sunday, June 24th.
Anyone wishing ton take part should meet at 10am on Scholes Bank, A673, Bolton Road, Horwich, BL6, near Dryfield Lane for a circular walk of 13 miles.
This will take them from Rivington & Blackrod School, up over Winter Hill, descending to Longworth Clough and returning via Dunscar Golf Course, along paths and bridleways to Barrow Bridge and back over the West Pennine Moors.
The walk is free and there is no need to book, just turn up with suitably sturdy walking gear and a packed lunch.
