Chorley Golf Club members Danny Wright, and Darren Edwards organised their own Longest Day Golf Challenge for the second year on Sunday 24th June completing 5 rounds (90 holes) in one day in aid of the club’s Captain’s Charities Rosemere Cancer Foundation, and Bolton Dementia Support.
The lads - both single figure golfers Danny with a handicap of 6 and Darren playing off scratch - know a thing or two about the game and took on challengers from the club, teeing off at 5.30am and the last game finishing at 8.40pm raising even more money for local good causes.
