There is bound to be lots of fun at the Horwich Christmas Lantern Parade which takes place at St Catherine's CE Primary School on Friday November 30th (5.15pm).
You can even make your own lantern at the free lantern workshops over at St Catherine's Church Hall.
The workshops take place on three successive Sundays - November 4th (1.30 to 3.30), November 18th (1.30 to 3.30) and November 25th (1.30 to 3.30).
There is no need to book, but you will need to take an empty two-litre plastic bottle for each lantern you want to make.
