Images released after assault at takeaway

Police have released images of four men they want to speak to in connection with an assault outside a Bolton takeaway.

At around 2.20am on Sunday August 12th this year the 21-year-old victim was stood outside Allen’s Fried Chicken on Bradshawgate.

An unknown man approached him and for no reason punched him in the face - knocking him unconscious - before running off.

It is believed the attacker was with a group of three others at the time.

The victim suffered a fractured cheekbone.

Detective Constable Faye Meadows, from GMP’s Bolton CID, said: “This was a brutal and unprovoked attack on a young man.

“His attacker left him lying unconscious on the floor outside and we need to find him.

“We are desperate to speak to the four men pictured.  If you recognise them, please get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone with any information about this incident to contact us.”
