Officers searching for woman missing in Horwich issue appeal

Officers searching for missing Bolton woman are continuing to appeal for information.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of Monika Olah, 38, have been carrying out extensive CCTV enquiries.

She was last seen getting off a bus at the Beehive roundabout on Chorley New Road around 4.45pm on Friday 8 February 2019. She is seen to walk in the direction of Tesco.

She has short cropped brown hair, blue eyes and is 5ft 3inches tall.

Monika was last seen wearing a black padded coat with a fur hood and a white hooded top. She was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms and black shoes.

Officers have released CCTV images of Monika and are encouraging anyone that might have seen her since to get in touch.

Detective Sergeant Joanne Little, of GMP’s Bolton district, said: “Monika has been missing for three days, and we are becoming more and more concerned for her welfare.

“Her family are very worried, and we are doing everything we can to find Monika and bring her home safely.

“I would appeal to anyone who believes they have seen Monika, or someone fitting her description, to contact us as soon as possible.”
