CounsellingKind aims to make mental health support accessible, engaging, and effective. With an innovative delivery model it offers: Counselling, Coaching and Self Care Events.

Rebecca Shivji, Founder of CounsellingKind, said: “As a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor, I’m honoured to be in a position where I can help people to overcome their personal difficulties, make positive changes in their lives, and go on to feel fulfilled”.

The counselling aspect of the business involves confidential work with clients, on a one-to-one basis. Clients can receive therapeutic support and coping strategies for a wide range of issues, such as: anxiety, bereavement, depression, health disorders, relationship issues, low self esteem, stress, and trauma.

CALM Coaching is available for anyone wishing to maximise their potential. Clients can choose from four pathways, including: Career Coaching, Artistic Coaching, Life Coaching, and Mindfulness and Meditation Coaching.  As well as benefitting from the guidance of an empathic Coach, clients receive a bespoke Action Plan and Tool Kit to support the successful achievement of goals.

Evidence suggests there are five steps we can all take to improve our mental wellbeing. These include: Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Give, and Take Notice. These have inspired CounsellingKind’s exciting programme of Self Care Events, which take place across the local community and are listed on the Facebook page. Self Care Events include: Wellbeing Workshops, Mindfulness Walks, Mental Health Awareness Training, a Personal Development Book Group, Self Care Talks, and supporting Sam’s Warriors (a running group to improve mental health).

If you are in any way unsatisfied with your mental wellbeing, please reach out to CounsellingKind to discuss your needs.
