HORWICH Heritage Society will be highlighting the delights of Rivington Terraced Gardens at a new exhibition.

This follows Elaine Taylor's excellent talk earlier this month.
They will be staging the exhibition about the Gardens' restoration on Saturday, March 14 from 10am-1pm at the Horwich Heritage Centre.

If you wish to learn more about your family history why not come along to the Family History Open Day on Saturday 28th March (10am -1pm) when the research team will be only too pleased to help you.

In preparation for the VE Day exhibition on 9th May, the Society is looking to discover local people's memories of WWII. If you can tell them about yourself, your parents or grandparents they would love to hear from you. Please ring 847797.

And finally, there is still time to visit the Models Exhibition full of exquisite models that we have acquired over the years but haven't been able to display until now - but you'll need to hurry as it closes on 12th March.

You can enjoy all these events and more by becoming a member for only £10 a year (11 free talks + a twice yearly magazine) or why not consider becoming one of our Heritage Centre volunteers
