THE Mayor of Horwich opened Horwich Heritage Society’s first exhibition of 2020 which is full of exquisite models that we have acquired over the years but haven’t been able to display until now.

Get along and have a look – you won’t be disappointed!  It runs until 13th March.

During February and March the Society will be turning their attention to the progress currently being made restoring Lord Leverhulme’s Terraced Gardens. On Tuesday 11th February. Elaine Taylor will be speaking about it at the monthly meeting and then on Saturday March 14 they will be opening a new exhibition about the Gardens’ restoration- again something not to be missed.

If you wish to enjoy all this and more why not become a member for only £10 a year (11 free talks + a twice yearly magazine) or become one of our Heritage Centre volunteers.
