Device-free family fun together this Summer at Treetop Nets

18 May 2018 06:53

A woodland based attraction which has sites throughout the North is offering families an adventurous way to spend time together outdoors through the Summer holidays this year, with not a device in sight.

Children in the UK on average spend over six hours on their phones and tablets, so getting them outdoors and active has never been so important to parents.

Treetop Nets has picturesque woodland sites at Windermere in the Lake District, Ripon in North Yorkshire and Heaton Park in Manchester. Importantly Treetop Nets is also as much fun for adults as it is children so offers a rare chance to spend quality family time together – screen free!

Treetop Nets is a series of gigantic treetop trampolines with connecting aerial walkways and tunnels which weave up to 60ft high through the tree canopy, with extra fun features like giant ball zones, net slides and climbing tunnels to add to the fun. The aerial experiences are completely encased in net ‘walls’ meaning that everyone from the age of three and up can bounce, run and tumble to their heart’s content, up to 60 feet off the ground, in complete safety and without the need for a harness.

Every Treetop site offers beautiful green-filled views and pretty picnic spots and all are open whatever the weather – so even if the Summer elements aren’t kind, there’s still a brilliant family day out to enjoy.

Two hours on Treetop Nets costs £13 for three to four year olds and £20 for everyone else.
