Seven FC Westhoughton players have raised £1,250 after climbing Snowdon to raise money for a defibrillator.

The team set off from Westhoughton at 6am and drove to Snowdonia for the hike which took more than four hours.

The money was raised online and with the help of Strength Factory Gym and Westhoughton Community Hub.

The club now wants to raise another £300 to buy a container to store the defibrillator outside The Hub in Central Drive where the entire community will have access to it.
