The 37th Lostock 6 road race takes place on Sunday February 24th.
This year their sponsor is Scan Computers UK who have kindly provided all prizes.
There are prizes for the first 3 male and female finishers, plus first under 20 male and female.
There are category prizes for 1st vet 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 male and 1st vet 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 female.
There is also a male and female team prize for the fastest team of 3.
In addition there is a £50 prize for breaking the male or female course record which currently stand at 29:48 held by Chris Steele (Border Harriers) and 34:16 set by Laura Hesketh (Clayton-le-Moors Harriers).
All runners receive a specially printed buff and there are also spot prizes at the finish line.
Registration is at the Barnstormers Pub from 8 a.m.
Reasonably-priced refreshments are available at the Barnstormers after the race. Please arrive in plenty of time to pick up your number and fit your timing chip.
Please remember to hand your chip back before you leave.
The race briefing will be at the junction of Lynstock Way, 15 minutes before the start of the race.
Please be aware this is a left turn course, fully marshalled but is not traffic free.
