Horwich Town Council will be awarding its final round of grant funding for the current financial year to local voluntary and community organisations that are located in and serve the residents of the Parish.
Closing date for applications is February 28th for consideration in March.
Grants are usually in the region of £100 to £300 but larger awards are sometimes given. Previous awards have included funding to Horwich Public Hall Ladies’ Bowling Club, Horwich Community Choir, Stocks Residents’ Association and Horwich RMI Cricket Club
Funding was also provided for events held by Friends of Horwich Memory Café and St Catherine’s Primary School Parents’ Association who organised the first Christmas Lantern Parade, as well as support for Christmas parties for the elderly and vulnerable held by Wright Place Luncheon Club and the Friday Club.
