Mrs Jasmin Sanders has been appointed as the new Head of Nursery at Bolton School. Jasmin is an early years professional with a varied background in Childcare and Education, having previously been an Early Years and Childcare Area Manager at St Bede Childcare as well as working closely with relevant inspecting authorities.

Headmistress of Bolton School Girls’ Division, Miss Sue Hincks, who chaired the panel which appointed Mrs Sanders, said: "We were all struck with Jasmin’s warmth as well as with her professionalism. She showed a perfect understanding of the need to work very closely with parents in a setting like ours so that the the children develop and learn in a nurturing environment with seamless continuity between home and Nursery.

"Together with Mrs Tracey Taylor, Head of Beech House Infants’ School, we are very lucky to have an outstanding Early Years team at Bolton School."

Looking forward to her new role, Jasmin said: "I have extensive experience in different Early Years settings in a range of posts over the years and I am also actively involved in groups within the Local Authority such as the Early Years’ Consultation Group and Early Years’ Sub Group.

"I am really looking forward to working at Bolton School’s outstanding Nursery and continuing to provide an excellent early education as we prepare children for school life. I also look forward, in time, to delivering some exciting new developments and events."

Jasmin is also the Network Chair of the National Day Nursery Association’s Bury, Bolton and Wigan Network.

Bolton School Nursery enrols children from birth through to 4 years and is open all year round. It was ranked as ‘outstanding’ in all categories when it was last inspected. The School, which recently won the TES’ Independent School of the Year Award, also runs a term-time only Nursery Class for 3 and 4 year olds.
