Join Bolton Ramblers this Sunday, May 12th, on a 4 mile walk through the fields and woods of the Hulton Estate. The walk will pass the site of the Pretoria Pit Disaster, the second worst such disaster in England, and will visit the poignant memorial to the disaster in which, in 1910, 344 men and boys lost their lives.
Meet at 2pm on the A6, Manchester Road, Over Hulton, approximately 200 yds past Chequerbent Roundabout, just past the garden centre. If travelling by bus, take the 540 from Bolton and get off at the first stop after the roundabout and walk back.
