Soapy Skin, a Market Place tenant, has relaunched as Dajan Organics and opened their new innovative store at Market Place, including a new treatment room.

When they first introduced their award winning natural skincare to the market they were primarily making and selling soap for hands. As the business evolved they expanded the range and now offer bath and body products, face and hair care and a range of home fragrances. The name Soapy Skin no longer worked to describe what their business had to offer. The owners thought long and hard and decided the fusion of their names best described how the family run business, which relies on teamwork and support from each other, would work and Dajan Organics was born.

As the owners looked to improve the business, they wanted to be able to offer treatments for the people of Bolton and the surrounding areas that could make a difference to their physical and mental wellbeing. Each person that experiences a treatment at the Dajan Organics store at Market Place will be encouraged to enjoy a moment away from the stresses of everyday life. The customer will be introduced to their natural and organic skincare and unique blends of 100% essential oils. Each one is created to fulfil a need, whether that is to combat stress and anxiety or to uplift the spirits. The treatment will be personalised specifically for customers so they get the most out of their visit.

The new store will have a new treatment room inside which will open for the first time during Market Place’s Health and Wellness Day, on Sunday 29 September. They will be offering 20% off all treatments on this day including reflexology, back, neck and shoulder massages and Indian Head Massages.

The owners of Dajan Organics also recently won a prestigious award at the Janey Loves 2019 Platinum Awards on 11th September 2019 in the Natural Products and Services category. The awards recognise natural, eco and organic products and services and they won the award for their Natural Peppermint Foot Balm for dry and cracked heels. The product is made from natural ingredients, without the use of parabens, EDTA, silicones, SLS, sorbates and sulphates. The awards were judged by celebrities including Zoe Ball (TV and radio presenter), Glynis Barber (actress), Jo Wood (entrepreneur and former wife of Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones) and the host of the awards was Janey Lee Grace (Radio 2 Presenter and author). Other brands to enter the awards were: Aeos, Green People, Chuckling Goat, Weleda, Tropic, Natorigin.
