Mia Slater, a Y9 pupil at Bolton School Girls' Division, will certainly have a Christmas to remember as she appears in BBC One's dark remake of Charles Dickens' timeless classic 'A Christmas Carol'. Mia will be on our screens in the prime-time evening slot on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th December. She plays the role of a mill girl in the programme. The all-star production includes Guy Pearce, Andy Serkis and Stephen Graham and comes from the creators of Peaky Blinders and the producers of Taboo with Tom Hardy as Executive Producer. You can watch a trailer for the show here<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=De0TY3j3_5s&feature=youtu.be>.

Mia has had a busy year and just missed out at the last stage for the West End show School of Rock. She has been attending her local Pauline Quirke Academy for Performing Arts for over 7 years where much of her success stems from. However, as she begins her GCSEs next year, her focus will also be on studying hard.
