Arrangements have now been confirmed with the owners, Bluemantle, for local politicians, residents and former employees to visit the Erecting Shop on Saturday 4th January between 10am & 1pm. Anyone who has not registered to visit already should do so by contacting Derek Cartwright of Horwich Heritage on derek.cartwright@outlook.com before Monday 30th December. Visitors should assemble at Rivington House (the former Works Offices) and will be able to look inside and have a tour of the Erecting Shop and the wider site (including the new Bellway housing development). For those unable to come on the Saturday there are a limited number of places available for visits on Friday afternoon, 3rd January, between 3-5pm."
