MP Chris Green has resigned from his role as Parliamentary Private Secretary over recent coronavirus restrictions. Chris Green, who represents Bolton West, stated that the figures within his borough hadn't fallen by much and that the "attempted cure is worse than the disease". In a recent Facebook post to his page, he states: "The Bolton lockdown has clearly not worked, and I believe that the cure is worse than the disease, so I have stepped down from my role as Parliamentary Private Secretary."
