Horwich Leisure Centre is offering free activities for the whole family to enjoy, as they stage their second Big Open Weekend of 2022 on October 8th and 9th.

After the success of the first Big Open Weekend back in March, Bolton Community Leisure (BCL), which runs Horwich Leisure Centre, as well as Westhoughton, Farnworth and Leverhulme Park and the Sir Jason Kenny Centre, decided to go again, offering a mix of sporting and fitness options - all for free!

Mahendra Patel, Partnership Manager for BCL said:

"Offering free sessions is always going to be popular, but with the cost-of-living crisis hitting so many, now's a great time to take advantage of our Big Open Weekend.

"We've got free swim and gym sessions, short tennis, a bouncy castle, a selection of free workout classes for people to try, including RPM (indoor cycling) and the Beast, which is our version of high intensity circuit training, and of course our usual friendly Horwich welcome!

"The activities will be a mixture of turn up on the day and bookable sessions, so please check our website for all details."

BCL runs five centres across the town in partnership with Serco Leisure and on behalf of Bolton Council.
