Talented artists from St Mary's RC Primary School in Horwich are now able to celebrate as winners of the art competition organised by the Furness Building Society agency team at accountants Leach Briely.
The competition was organised to coincide with Horwich Carnival and the pupils produced colourful ideas with a carnival flavour.
Agency Cashier Shirley Podmore arranged for the Society’s mascot Furry Ness to welcome the children and Horwich Town Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Jim Bullock and his wife Dorothy made the presentations at the agency in Lee Lane, Horwich.
Each of the children received a certificate and a prize bag containing chocolate treats, a Furry Ness toy and a £20 voucher to open a Furness Young Saver’s account.
One of the winners – Grace O’Keefe – was unable to attend to receive her prize.
