Take a guided walk through Rivington Terraced Gardens, taking in Lever’s Bridge, The Great Lawn, the Japanese gardens and the newly-restored Pigeon Tower and Italian Lake on Saturday, March 2nd (9.45am).
Knowledgeable volunteer Chris will lead the first guided walk of the year.
He will be taking a look around the considerable amount of work that has been taking place in the Gardens recently, including a peak at the ongoing Italian and Japanese Gardens as well as explaining the plans for the site.
Chris will also be bringing along copies of M.D Smith's excellent book 'Leverhulmes Rivington' available for £15.00 cash sale.
The cost of the walk is £5per adult with accompanied under 16s free and all money will go towards the restoration project.
